This wedge features a head shape with a reverse taper (thicker top section) designed to raise the CG and increase spin. The T.S. version features two specialty sole grinds: The H sole has slight heel and toe relief: the M sole has a rear portion that controls turf interaction when the face is open, and the front part of the sole is in control when the face is closed.
"I feel like I don't even need to carry three wedges because I could hit every shot with this."
"It's slightly thicker in the hell area, which inspires confidence, and the wedge slides through the turf nicely.""The sweet spot isn't very big. Really great out of the sand, though.""I like the clean, smoked finish on the [black pearl] head."
Fourteen has a growing reputation on the professional tours for making classic designs that resonate with better players. This wedge might be the best example.
Its price needs a reality check.
