The slot in the sole, which is part of the RocketBallz fairway-wood technology for increasing face flexibility, is also in this hybrid. Like the fairway wood, a new high-strength steel alloy allows the face to be made thinner and more flexible than last year's RocketBallz line.
Low-Handicapper:
"Just a long, high ball flight. It goes forever."
Middle-Handicapper:
"To use a rocket analogy, this is like launching artillery. It just kept going."..."Really long and consistent. You can't argue with distance and accuracy."
Hot:
Offering adjustability in the Tour model is useful, but what we like most is how the slot in the sole, combined with moving the CG closer to the face, leads to more distance.
Not:
We'd prefer the simplicity of an all-white clubhead.
