The Rescue features a classic head shape, a deep face and a neutral face angle. The matte-white crown and black face are intended to help with alignment. The hosel is adjustable, so golfers can change the club's lie and loft/face angle to suit their preferences.
"I'm fine with the white. After a few hits it ceases to be a novelty. This club has a muted sound with a mid-flight trajectory.""It's a heavier club, but with that weight comes distance."
"This is a sophisticated piece of equipment.""It has a very consistent flight, good distance and it lands softly. Just what a hybrid should be."
Forget the look for a minute. The sound is true and the feel is authentic. The performance is straight from the TaylorMade tree.
Still, the red decals on the white crown are distracting.
