To make a thinner, more flexible face, Tour Edge uses a maraging-steel cupface on a tungsten-steel sole and body. External weight pads in the sole are intended to improve stability on off-center hits. The cambered sole and shallow face are designed to help golfers make clean contact from a variety of lies.
