Hexahedron sole weighting moves weight back into the heel and toe area.
Tour Edge was founded in 1968 by David Glod, a former golf pro who set out to change consumer perception of the golf industry by providing a truly high quality product at an affordable price. Headquartered in suburban Chicago, Illinois, this company has grown exponentially since its inception, doubling sales every year through the early 1990s by developing and offering clubs with superior performance and value pricing. Today Tour Edge is one of the fastest growing manufacturers, and in 1996 made the list of the Top 40 manufacturers in Golf Pro Magazine.

To make a thinner, more flexible face, Tour Edge uses a maraging-steel cupface on a tungsten-steel sole and body. External weight pads in the sole are intended to improve stability on off-center hits. The cambered sole and shallow face are designed to help golfers make clean contact from a variety of lies.
Low-Handicapper:
"Its distance is unparalleled among the hybrids I've tested. The 22-degree model goes as far as other companies' 19-degree."
Middle-Handicapper:
"The angled leading edge makes you feel like you can get down after the ball."
Hot:
The smaller, tour-style head belies the meaty technology inside, and the lightweight-shaft option helps those of us who are not tour players.
Not:
That lightweight shaft option comes only in white.
