• Greater spin with better trajectory and distance control from deep TX3 grooves. TX3 grooves channel away grass and debris for improved contact between the ball and groove edge.
• Increased groove durability from a high frequency face heat treatment for longer spin retention over the life of the wedge.
• Tour proven sole grinds allow you to execute more shots. SM5 provides a wide selection of bounce and grind options to fit your swing style, shot technique or course conditions.
• Compact profile with a shorter blade length and rounder toe profile created from Tour player feedback.
• Clean looking Raw Black finish.

The wedge's groove pattern changes depending on the loft. Lower lofts have narrower grooves for trajectory control, and higher lofts use deeper grooves for more spin from the rough. A heat treatment is applied to the impact area during the casting process to improve durability.
"It's very responsive on greenside shots, and the spin is remarkable."
"In the sand, the ball comes off so clean. I could throw the ball up anywhere, short or long. I can feel the wider sole."
We're always excited when Vokey offers a full update, and we're never disappointed. Epically complete.
The simple design on the back looks a tad unfinished.
