The Method Core has a low, deep center of gravity (CG) and a grooved polymer-aluminum face insert to get the ball rolling faster off the face. The polymer also has a dampening effect. The Drone 2 model features a lightweight aluminum body with a heavy steel rear section for optimum stability on mis-hits.
Low-Handicapper:
"The MC11w feels unexpectedly solid for a smaller head. The ball really hugged the ground."
Middle-Handicapper:
"It's like that car you've had forever: reliable, but you don't want anyone seeing you use it."..."I loved the weighting and control on short putts."
Hot:
The insert gets credit for the roll, but just as important to the performance is the ultra-low CG.
Not:
The Drone 2's benefits might not overcome its looks.
