The 6-iron through gap wedge have the lowest and deepest center of gravity (CG) of any iron in Mizuno's line. A specially treated steel-alloy face is designed to increase the springlike effect. Weight is also placed in the low heel and high toe to enlarge the sweet spot.
"Excellent. One of the easiest to control."
"Such a great look. Some clubs in this category have a look that screams 'chopper.' Not these."
Shaft lengths on the 4- and 5-hybrids are equal to that of the corresponding iron to promote control. By comparison, the 4- and 5-hybrids of several other clubs in this category are more than an inch longer.
The short irons might not produce the wide-sole forgiveness most golfers in this category need.
