• A new 25 percent larger face increases the size of the Sweet Zone for higher COR and increased overall distance
• Promotes a square face at impact which provides maximum draw bias for longer, more consistent shots
• Visual cues and setup ensure proper alignment with target and help keep the club on the desired swing path

Cobra features two models: The S3 has a neutral setup and standard lofts; the S3 Max has offset and higher lofts. Each is made from 17-4 stainless steel and has an oversize face (25 percent larger than last year's S2) for increased springlike effect and to reduce twisting on off-center hits. Fujikura's new lightweight Blur shaft is standard in both models.
“It has an ideal trajectory and a nice tumble, too. No balloon balls with this one."..."It's great for someone who can't hit a driver. It really performs."..."Pretty Lively from the ground. A straight club."
"The S3 is shockingly forgiving for such a small head. It has a solid, muted sound."..."It feels almost like a persimmon wood, which is nice."..."Every shot I hit went pretty straight and long."
High marks for finding a way to make a hotter face that still can be played from the fairway.
Yet another year has gone by without any significant fitting improvements from Cobra.
